Chill and Smiles

  • The opening of our lessons generally begin with:
  • Calming sounds such as jazz
  • Light hearted conversations about life
  • A fun icebreaker (this could be totally unrelated to the topic at hand)

MAIN LESSON

Time to Inspire

  • The teacher will then begin teaching in a way that is energetic and fun
  • Our lessons will encourage conversations from the students
  • The teacher will regularly send out polls for students to complete to ensure everyone understands
  • We may even play some smooth jazz whilst students are working on any questions

mini break

Brain Reset

  • Half way through the lesson the teacher will encourage a break
  • This will allow students to quickly stretch, use the bathroom or just partake in some fun conversations
  • The teacher will potentially play a game, conduct another icebreaker or play some music in this time
  • Allowing a quick reset gives students the energy to complete the remainder of their lesson

Resume Inspiration

  • The teacher will continue to deliver their lesson content in the awesome manner they started
  • Expect many more polls, questions, exercises and thought provoking conversations to help students understand

Lesson Close

  • In the final minutes of the lesson the teacher will spend some time explaining what the homework is, feeding back on previous lesson homework and setting expectations for the next lesson
  • Then depending on how much time is left, there might be time for a fun exercise or game to finish of the class
  • Lessons last between 45-55 minutes depending on how the content has been received by students
