Food Tech

Explore ingredients, recipes and techniques while learning basic cooking skills. Discuss themes such as nutrition, healthy eating and food safety

Develop basic skills in this classic language. Listening, reading and speaking activities are included in lessons. There will also be a link to learn more about French culture

Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and Year 11)

We recommend a 2 year programme

Students can complete their IGCSEs in a year, however, we recommend completing the full 2 year programme

Regular Assessments

We regularly practice exam questions to make sure students are on track as well as give them opportunities to sit mock exams twice a year

Exam Process Support

We will guide students and families during the exam process, including help you find the right test centre and book exams

Our Key Stage 4 lessons start a lot later than the rest of the school. This is because we understand that older students appreciate starting school a bit later so we have adjusted our timetable to give them the best chance of doing amazing in lessons.

Class Sets

Year 3/4
Year 5/6

Currently the class sets for core subjects in KS2 are based in the year groups. Year 3 and 4 are grouped together, as are Year 5 and Year 6. This could change in the future depending on class numbers.

KS3 and KS4

There are 4 different class sets for core subjects in both KS3 and KS4. If you feel like the pace is not adequate for you child in Maths, English or Science lessons, please email us at info@theonlineschool.uk and we will be able to help tailor the learning to your child’s needs
