A Gold Star
- Students achieve a gold star when they have:
- Stretched themselves either academically within the lesson (or showcased increased confidence or participation)
- Students with the highest numbers of gold stars each term will receive Amazon Gift Vouchers!
- Been polite and well behaved

A Thumbs Up
- Students achieve a thumbs up when they have:
- Actively participated in lesson
- Been polite and well behaved
a reason for concern
A Thumbs Down
- Students will receive a thumbs down if they have:
- Been rude or disruptive in class
- Not participated (unless we have been made aware of their anxiety or needs which mean it would be better if they don't participate) in which case they will receive a thumbs up 🙂
- Students with a thumbs down are normally followed up with an email/call to their parents to address the behaviour so that we can proactively work on this as soon as possible
