We encourage respect, acceptance, love and politeness
How students behave is really important to us because it affects them and other students around them
We understand that sometimes students can get distracted or don't want to participate, this is not what we consider to be bad behaviour. However when students are being rude, attempting to bully/threaten or share inappropriate comments then this is considered bad behaviour.
This ultimately will have an impact on student mental health, the vibe of the classroom and ultimately the quality of the learning
So we work hard to ensure that students are proactively rewarded for good behaviour
We are also swift to preempt bad behaviour and tackle it before it becomes disruptive
Our teachers reward every positive behaviour will positive acknowledgement and student report rewards
We also have high energy teachers who love to smile and have a positive attitude to help manage and diffuse any bad behaviour before it gets out of control
Students will be given a thumbs down on their student report instead of thumbs up and stars (for which students earn prizes if they earn a certain number of stars)
Students will also be reminded (at times where the teacher feels it would be beneficial) of the consequences of their actions to help students make better decisions
Incase a student displays bad behaviour then they will either have their ability to participate in the lesson (i.e. chatbox and mic priviledges revoked) or will be removed from the lesson and their parents informed
NURTURING HAPPINESS, safety AND SUCCESS
Our Rules on Behaviour
Since we operate a bully-free zone and work hard to reduce the anxiety of students, bad behaviour can counteract our efforts
So in situations where the student has been awarded 2 thumbs down in a row for bad behaviour and their parents have been informed
Then TheOnlineSchool.UK reserve the right to exclude and/or expel the student from our classes without any refund of fees
This is policy is in place to help make our classrooms safer and happier for everyone
