How can my child sit exams with you?

Exams can be sat online* or in person in an exam centre.

We teach for Edexcel International GCSEs (IGCSEs)
IGCSEs are similar to UK GCSEs but are also available for students who may be outside of UK during exams
IGCSEs are regarded as equivalent to GCSEs by colleges and employers
Our GCSEs are coursework free
Our Exams Officer will reach out to you upon enrolment in KS4 and is available for any exam queries

we keep a close eye on all of our students, because we care

We regularly assess students and reach out if we have any concerns to personalise support in lessons
There are end-of-term assessments every half-term that include exam questions and two rounds of mock exams
These are done in supported, no pressure environment to help student exam anxiety and monitor areas where they may need additional support
This will also provide you with enough knowledge to work out if you want your child to sit their exams sooner or delay these until their scores and understanding improve

your child can take their gcses at a time that suits them

The majority of students will sit their exams in the Summer of Year 11
However, we can personalise this so they sit some of their exams earlier or later, depending on their own learning journey
Exams happen twice a year, in Summer and Winter
Our team will be there to provide guidance and support throughout the whole process
This guidance includes 1:1 conversations to help you plan when your child should sit exams to give them a better chance to pass

we will keep you in the loop

We will first raise any concerns with you (the parent/carer)
We will then work with you to establish the best route to support your child, this could be additional homework, private tuition or moving your child to a different class set
We offer different class sets for core subjects which cater to different student needs
We also have additional teacher led revision lessons for all core subjects
We can also provide students with subject specific revision packs which include a wide range of activities and past papers
1:1 sessions are also available for students to discuss their specific career path and personalise their exam prep
